I’ve earned great money this past year by sorta hacking the algorithm of Dribbble. Well, Kinda. I basically used tools they already had in place that others don’t utilize.

I would post regularly and only post design work I would want to be hired for.
I would then once a month pay to have a shot boosted. (This was the game-changer for my earnings)
Followers on Dribbble aren’t important!
Dribbble isn’t like Twitter or Instagram. On this platform having a bunch of followers isn’t important at all, but creating influence is.
- Find your niche and double down.
- design quality and quantity
Designing quality and quantity is really important. It’ll help you to receive more likes and views, which pushes your work to people who are hiring for full-time roles or freelance.

I’ve noticed personally when I used both Linkedin and Dribbble as sort of one tool recruiters would reach out more and more. I would typically have anywhere from 5–12 messages a day on my Linkedin.
Recruiters would either find me on Linkedin and then view my Dribbble or the other way around.
These jobs were consistently over 6 figures in salary. Some as high as $215,000.
